Pursuant to Ohio Administrative Code Section 5123:2-2-02, the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is required to conduct background investigations for purposes of employment. Please note that per 5123:2-2-02, there are five tiers of disqualifying offenses with corresponding time periods that preclude an applicant from being employed with this agency. Therefore, all applicants under final consideration will be required to submit to background checks through the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. For more information, please review OAC 5123:2-2-02. Also, due to safety issues within the workplace, prospective employees must also pass a drug test prior to being hired.

INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT COORDINATOR ASSISTANT
The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is in search of a full time ISC Assistant. The chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting individuals with application and maintenance of benefits (i.e. social security, metro, Medicaid, food stamp, BVR): assists with paperwork, appointments, communicates and problem solves with other agencies. Accompany individuals to appointments when needed. Arrange for psychological evaluations for Waiver applications. Coordinate provider search, assist individual in accessing and interviewing providers. Assist individuals with accessing community agencies, coordinate with legal system, mental health, and community action agencies to ensure individuals are healthy and safe in the community. The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Developmental Specialist to work in the coaching and supporting of parents/caregivers in activities to enhance their child's development. This position provides on-going services in the natural environment of families to address the developmental needs of children (0-3 years of age) who have met the eligibility of the Help Me Grow Program. The qualifying individual must hold a Bachelor's degree or graduate level degree in education, health, social or behavioral science, social services, human services, or other related field from an accredited college of university.
