Please note that per 5123:2-2-02, there are five tiers of disqualifying offenses with corresponding time periods that preclude an applicant from being employed with this agency. Therefore, all applicants under final consideration will be required to submit to background checks through the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Fairfield County Board of DD is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist. We are seeking a licensed professional providing communication development training to individuals who have a developmental disability. This employee will work with considerable independence, receiving general and professional directions from the Director of Educational Services. Qualified candidates will possess a Masters degree or higher with Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC’s). INDIVIDUAL BUDGET SPECIALIST
The Fairfield County Board of DD is seeking an Individual Budget Specialist. SOme duties in the position include; creating purchase requisitions in Munis for locally funded individual budget items and services, assisting providers in becoming approved county vendors, and ensuring that locally funded items and services are coded to the correct account. The candidate will be in charge of monitoring and implementing the individual budget process, troubleshooting issues for the Individual Support Coordinators by working through service authorizations regarding submitted schedules, over-authorizations, or lack of information to complete the cost projection tool. Qualifications for this position include; Bachelor's Degree or higher in social work, business administration, public administration, accounting. IT SYSTEM SPECIALIST
The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is searching for a dynamic individual to serve in the role of IT System Specialist. Along with working with our computer support team, this individual will also serve as lead for our Community Connections manager Software project. This role provides software demonstrations, as well as training and support for our customers.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, with database systems knowledge and experience in Microsoft Access preferred. The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Intermittent Nurse job duties include:
Provides general nursing care to enrollees. Acting on physician's directions, administers prescribed medication; maintains medication accountability records; maintains medication equipment and supplies. Performs skilled nursing procedures. Screens for communicable and nuisance diseases. Provides consultation services with instructors, parents, guardians and/or significant others regarding health and safety-related issues of enrollees. Assists in the area of personal health related matters (i.e. grooming, hygiene, safety, nutrition). Assists in the development of policies and procedures related to health and safety issues.
You must be a Registered Nurse to be considered for this position.
